Terms of Service

Last updated: April 21, 2026

This is a plain-English agreement between you ("you") and Eviddo ("we", "us"). By using the service you accept these terms. If any part doesn't work for you, email hi@eviddo.com before you sign up and we'll sort it out.

1. What Eviddo is

Eviddo is a software service that lets rental operators (cars, apartments, equipment) capture AI-analysed photos of their assets, seal them cryptographically, and reference them later if a dispute arises. We do not act as your lawyer, your insurer, or your legal representative. We are a tool; how the evidence is used in any dispute is on you.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe. Anything that happens while signed into your account is your responsibility, including actions by team members you invite. If you suspect someone else has access, reset your password and email us.

You must be at least 18 and acting on behalf of a business or yourself, not on behalf of someone else without their authorisation.

3. What you may and may not do

Use Eviddo to document real rental state. Don't:

  • Upload fake, staged, or modified photos and represent them as original captures.
  • Upload photos that include people other than yourself or your counterparty without their consent.
  • Automate scraping of the service, resell access, or reverse- engineer internals.
  • Use Eviddo to harass, defame, or extort another party.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. We'll tell you why.

4. Pricing

Current plans are listed at eviddo.app/pricing. During the MVP we offer a free tier with limits (100 photos or 90 days, whichever comes first) so real customers can try before paying. Paid plans bill monthly via Stripe. You can cancel anytime from the billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.

5. Evidence admissibility

Eviddo hashes, timestamps, and GPS-stamps every photo. This is designed to support admissibility of evidence in a dispute, but we do not guarantee any specific outcome in any specific jurisdiction. Courts and arbitrators evaluate evidence on their own rules. Use Eviddo alongside, not instead of, domain-appropriate documentation (rental contracts, signed inventories, etc.).

AI-authored analyses are marked as such in the interface. The "Approve" workflow lets an admin confirm the analysis before it becomes part of an immutable record. Unreviewed AI output is labelled as preliminary in exported PDFs and in the diff comparison.

6. Data ownership

You own the content you upload. We get a limited licence to store, process, and return it to you (and to parties you explicitly share with, e.g., via tenant walk-through links). We never sell your content. We never use it to train third- party AI. Anthropic, our AI provider, does not train on Eviddo customer data under our API terms.

7. Availability

Eviddo is a hosted service. We aim for high availability but don't promise zero downtime. If we cause extended downtime that affects your business, contact us and we'll work out a credit.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is". We disclaim warranties to the extent the law lets us, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Our liability for any claim arising from the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Eviddo is incorporated. If the company has not yet incorporated at the time you read this, we'll reach out individually to paying customers once incorporation is complete and re-sign these terms.

10. Changes

We bump the "Last updated" date on this page and email active users when terms change materially. If you don't agree with a change you can delete your account before the new terms take effect.

11. Contact

Email hi@eviddo.com. A human replies.
